Bedlington Terrier: A Distinguished Canine Companion
Despite its whippet-like appearance, the Bedlington Terrier is firmly a terrier, showcasing agility and grace without any hint of weakness. With a muscular yet supple physique, this breed exudes distinction, drawing parallels to its ancestor, the Whippet. Although it may surprisingly resemble a lamb at first glance, it is undoubtedly a dog through and through.
Size
Males typically stand between 41 and 44 cm (16.14 to 17.32 inches)

Color
The coat can be black, blue, white, sandy, or brown, with or without tan markings, often exhibiting a lighter shade on the face and ears for the darker colors.
Coat
The thick, felt-like coat has a slight tendency to curl.
Morphology
The pear-shaped head features a rather narrow, rounded, and high skull. The absence of a stop is reminiscent of the Bull Terrier’s head. Small, bright eyes harmonize beautifully with the coat color. The hanging ears always culminate in a lovely wavy tuft. The nose can be brown or black, depending on the coat color.
The tail is of moderate length and is never carried over the back.
According to the FCI nomenclature, this breed falls under group 3, section 1, and is designated #9.
